Five years ago, she embraced the unexpected opportunity to become a spin instructor, leading to a transformative experience that reshaped her life.

With her sharp business acumen and intuitive wisdom, she has guided countless entrepreneurs to scale their businesses while staying true to their purpose.

After experiencing public cancellation, Giovanna discovered profound lessons on resilience and the power of owning one’s narrative. In her session, she’ll share insights on transformation, leadership, and living unapologetically in your truth.

  • Clairissa Cruz

Join us for an empowering session “Going for it: Overcoming Cultural Barriers and Pursuing Dreams” with Clairissa, an award-winning entrepreneur, beauty business coach, and dedicated mother who transformed her dreams into reality through determination and resilience. As the owner of Bare Body Sugaring and the Founder of the Bare at Home Kit, she developed one of Canada’s top hair removal brands, managing three storefronts and over 30 employees—all without formal business training.

In this inspiring talk, Clairissa will share her journey, highlighting the cultural and systemic challenges she faced as an Indigenous woman in Canada. Growing up in low-income housing with a single teen mom and an immigrant father, she learned the values of tenacity and perseverance early on. Despite the odds, she discovered that entrepreneurship could help her break free from the cycle of poverty.
